PTA Tax on iPhone 15, 15 plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max
IPhone 15 was launched on 12 September 2023. And official price of the iPhone has been introduced. But wait. Are you planning to acquire an Apple iPhone 15 Model from overseas and bring it back to Pakistan or have it delivered to your family? If so, please note that due to DIRBS regulations, you will need to pay PTA tax to register and use a local SIM in Pakistan after 2 months. Without paying the PTA tax, your iPhone 15 series phone will not function with any local SIM in Pakistan. Below is a breakdown of the PTA tax for each model:
- Apple iPhone 15: PTA Tax on Passport – PKR 107,325, PTA Tax on CNIC – PKR 130,708
- Apple iPhone 15 Plus: PTA Tax on Passport – PKR 113,075, PTA Tax on CNIC – PKR 137,033
- Apple iPhone 15 Pro: PTA Tax on Passport – PKR 122,275, PTA Tax on CNIC – PKR 147,153
- Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max: PTA Tax on Passport – PKR 131,130, PTA Tax on CNIC – PKR 156,893
Remember, the PTA tax for the Apple iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max must be paid within 30 days (for PTA Passport registration) or 60 days (for CNIC registration).
