HEC has introduced a program to provide quality education and necessary skills to the youth of Gwadar.
This project will assist highly talented students of Gwadar for the undergraduate studies (BS-4/5 years Program) at public sector universities and recognised institutions of HEC. These are present in the provinces of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh.
Gwadar is a seaport city situated on the southwestern coast of the Pakistan province of Balochistan, and it is the capital of the South Balochistan region. Govt. Pakistan is taking measures to progress this region. It is an essential step to provide quality education.
The government has developed a scholarship programme to arm students from Gwadar with modern skills. Thus, this will enable them to access CPEC projects employment opportunities as well as other job markets.
There are scholarships available for the academic year leading up to fall 2023 with many disciplines to choose from. “Scholarship Program for Students from Gwadar”—the Program.
This scholarship is for students of Gwadar District domicile / residence holders who have completed their 12-year education, FA/FSs/ICS, ICom, DAE or equivalent qualifications.
HEC will provide this scholarship to students who will get admission in HEC recognized public universities.
Furthermore, it is open to those students from Gwadar who are studying in 4-year BS programmes at public sector universities in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Sindh.
